Geologic Mapping Inc. - Stationery
The Objective:
Geologic Mapping came to Scott Design to design a new a stationery package
for them.
Creative Execution:
One of the mapping project they did was to create a map of the
magma flow during the eruption of Mount St. Helens. Seeing this map's
colors, textures and flowing lines, I came up with an idea to us it
as a background effect. To help with the readability of the letter,
I muted the original colors of the map then ghosted and blurred the
letter area. On the business card I kept the sharpness of the map to
show the detail of attention that potential new clients would recognize.
Result:
The client was very satisfied and contracted me to design and program
their website.
