The
Objective:
CFR came to Scott Design for the production of a pamphlet style brochure.
Marketing Strategy:
Use of the brochure would be mailed and handed out college trade shows
around Florida.
Creative Execution:
Working with a photographer I Art Directed the shots to so the subject
matter would show that CFR is a great place to work. Once I got these
images, my design inspiration was the slashes in their logo. Mimicking
these slashes for the cover and inside spread, I chose images for the
cover that supported the client's statement. The first inside spread
concept had solid dark blue stripes and once it was laid out I felt
something was missing. Remembering that the client was proud to be
in Orlando, I suggested for them to use a photo of the landmark Lake
Eola in the downtown area. They found the images they wanted and I
worked it into the cover design and the inside spread. This
allowed me to soften the dark blue to a ghost effect which improved
the inside.
Result:
Very satisfied customer they already requested to produce a larger format
for them to print. |
