55 West Height of City Living - Print Ad Campaign
  back | previous | next

The Objective:
Noble Communications came to Scott Design to design a 2nd ad campaign after the success of the first campaign, "Center of Attention".

Creative Execution:
This campaign was to introduce the start of building of the tower. The client wanted to show the 3D rendering of the building with architectual details, and photos from the concept unit at the sales office. The idea came from a concept that originated from Clearchannel's creative department for a billboard that was never created. It was my job to take the concept and create the allusion as if it was coming out of blueprints. I art directed the 3D artist to created a rendering of the tower as if it just burst through the blueprint in a dramatic way. They did a wonderful job and their art made the rest of the ad fall together flawlessly.

I created the final image using Adobe Illustrator and Photo Shop. Taking a flat image of a downtown Orlando map, I distorted it so it had some perspective. Drew some ripped paper and placed them onto the map as if a whole was punched into it. Placing the tower and adding shading to make it appear it was coming out of the dark whole.

Result:
Satisfied client and the ad campaign has just been placed in the Orlando Magazine.
